Formerly Refuge For Women Pittsburgh
We are writing to share an important update about our Pittsburgh location. As of May 1, 2025, the Pittsburgh program will transition out of Refuge For Women to operate independently under Her Safe Haven. While they will no longer be part of the Refuge For Women brand and program model, we are excited to see them continue providing faith-based, emergency housing services in the Pittsburgh area. This decision reflects their unique vision for the future and their commitment to serving survivors of human trafficking, specifically focused on women who are also overcoming addiction. While they will now chart their own course, we remain deeply supportive of their mission and are committed with them to an orderly and God-honoring transition. We look forward to collaborating with them in the future as we do with many other anti-trafficking organizations.
At Refuge For Women, we remain dedicated to expanding our reach and impact across the country. This transition allows both organizations to focus on what we do best while maintaining a shared goal of supporting survivors on their journey to freedom and healing. We wish the Pittsburgh team every success in this new chapter and are grateful for the work they have done and will continue to do in their community. If you have any questions or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
